A Tiffany blue moment
Tiffany & Co is the first thing that springs to mind when any woman thinks of luxurious, beautiful and lavish jewellery; the epitome of timeless class and femininity.
Not only is Tiffany’s possibly one of the most sought after brands, it also has a film dedicated to it and has even emitted its own iconic colour.
As we all know, diamonds don’t come cheap- especially those from such a renowned and deluxe brand as Tiffany’s. We can however, add an instant touch of class to our spring wardrobes this year by adding a splash of the famous and distinguishable Tiffany blue.
The bold, bright and gorgeous colour is a guaranteed head-turner, and really does look amazing with any skin-type or hair colour- which is probably why it was celebrated so much on S/S’13 runways this year by Oscar De La Renta, Nina Ricci, Gucci and Balmain to name a few.
The high street is also singing its praises, so we’ve picked out some of the best Tiffany blue pieces and accessories for you to embrace this S/S.
Asos are providing the perfect Tiffany shades, from beautiful bodycons, flowing maxis and strappy summer dresses. Pair all of these with nude heels and statement silver jewellery for the ultimate Tiffany look.
Topshop has embraced the summery shade, offering an affordable yet fashionable alternative. Team this crop top with white culotte shorts or cigarette trousers for a simple yet effective 50s style. Go all out in Tiffany blue in this sleeved, figure hugging maxi or add a small splash of colour with some suede stilettos.
Tiffany blue has also hit the high-end stores of the high street. Ted Baker takes a spin on the on-trend shade with a beautiful short suit- an easy way to ooze a conservative, classy style. Alternatively, add a subtle touch with this pleated a-line skirt or these cross strap heels.
If you want to add a small touch of colour to a more laid back summer outfit, try wearing Tiffany shades in the form of a skinny belt (Oasis), a scarf (Asos) or converse.
Tiffany blue is set to be a huge trend this spring/summer and it’s not hard to find anything embracing the vibrant shade, so why not start giving your wardrobe an elegant Tiffany revamp.
