Charlize Theron and TOMS collaborate to create a cool, chic, charitable style
What happens when our favorite shoe make, TOMS, meets the global star Charliza Theron? Cool, orange shoes. TOMS is a shoe make, which was inspired by the frail feed of poverty stricken kids in Argentina. This company matches every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of shoes given to a desperate child in need. This is where the shoe company turned into the One for One company. So, when we mix this charitable act with Charlize Theron’s African Outreach Project, many frowns get turned upside down.
Charlize Theron’s African Outreach Project (CTAOP) was created in 2007, by the actress herself, in order to support African youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The budding project provides funding and resources to organisations that search for advanced ways to keep the youth safe from these murderous diseases. The two separate projects combine into one large, bountiful charity that will save many lives and make many children’s lives healthy. Proceeds of each sale will be donated to Charlize Theron’s charity.
This fashion-famous collaboration has resulted in a fabulous new shoe. The limited edition products are bright orange with the CTAOP logo and are exclusive to the women’s and kid’s classic style collection. This inspirational project is just another example of how fashion puts a step forward in order to help those in need.
