Conscientious clothing with Terra Dea
As the fashion world seems to be becoming more eco-friendly with every article we read, here’s another for you. Terra Dea, the ethically aware fashion brand based here in the UK uses only organic and/or vintage recycled fabrics for their products.
Terri Nicole (head designer), does not condone the slaughter of animals purely for fashion, and so provides a variety of handmade products that are all ethical. Her fur and leather is recycled, which has led to the brand being awarded the Blue Butterfly Trust Mark for their ethically sustainable products.
From a variety of products, including faux-leather shorts, cut-out T-shirts and bright skirts, the clothing from Terra Dea is not only fun, but also versatile so they can be worn for every season!
This luscious bright pink wrap skirt has been made using the silk from a vintage saree. With ‘floaty’ layered detail and a genuine leather trim waistband, it is definitely one of a kind, and perfect to add a pop of colour to your everyday wardrobe. Spot on for the summer season, it can be taken on holiday to be worn on the beach, and is adaptable to be worn high-waisted or on the hip.
Another favourite of ours is the one of a kind ‘Azize’ couture dress, made from a recycled offcut of genuine African wax print fabric. The royal blue and orange contrast works perfect for those last summer days, where we see the transition from summer to autumn. With detailed beadwork and gathering detail, this would be yet another standout piece in your chic wardrobe.
The clothing is all offered at competitive prices, so we really don’t know what you’re waiting for, head over to the site to shop now by clicking here.
