Wild party for new WAXX underwear collection
The old myth that fashion and comfort don’t get along was finally broken when WAXX made its big move and decided to get into the underwear market in the loudest way possible.
After the success of the last party in January, WAXX threw another event last night to present the new underwear spring/summer collection 2013. Instead of going for a usual catwalk, the company decided to go back to the exclusive venue of The Rose Club in Orchard Street, and entrusted the new pieces to dancers rather than models.
In the club, emblazoned by red flashing lights, the set-list played by Dj Kaveh, the models danced in street freestyle taking good care in showing the new collection. The French brand went for bold and stylish and glossy prints that recall pop art tradition, on dark or light backgrounds.
WAXX, already known for its presence in the extreme sports clothing market, proposed a fashionable collection without forgetting all the great characteristics that made their products the most rated among athletes. The pieces in microfibre, soft on the skin, can be easily washed and dry very quickly and the absence of stitchings allows the underwear to humour the lines of the body without leaving any mark.
The success is not limited to underwear, the brand decided to propose the colourful prints on swim, surf and beach shorts.
The presentation party saw the participation of celebrities, among them the rapper Jizz and other media personalities as Christian Williams James Barr, presenters at Capital FM.
