Benetton and Sisley have A/W 2013 all wrapped up
The United Colors of Benetton and Sisley have recently been showcasing their autumn/winter 2013 collections, but what do they have in store for us in the colder months?
Benetton has been reaching for the wool and creating clothes to be comfortable in, with their iconic range of colours to choose from too. From muted blues and greens to neon pink, the Benetton collection will certainly have an article for everyone. The style varies from the thinner and smarter jumpers to the larger, almost grunge style ones.
Wool mix coats and trousers are also in abundance and provide an excellent note of tailoring alongside the looser, less formal jumpers. The coats have a splash of patterning to them too, making them more of a key article in your wardrobe than a coat would normally be. That said, the patterns aren’t too over the top, and will certainly not date quickly.
Sisley has a similar palette to Benetton, but its clothes are lighter with a more feminine edge. With the wool jumpers and heavy coats are pieces made of chiffon, which would layer well and be suited for both day wear and more formal occasions.
Menswear also has its share of heavy woollen coats, with tweed and elbow patches still being a staple of the range. The jackets are cut well, and would suit any shape and look good for years, making them excellent investment pieces.
