Moda Rosa’s charity fashion show
A favourite of Carole Middleton, Moda Rosa is Hampshire’s fashionable boutique. Stocking clothing and accessories by Alice Temperley, Marc Cain and Philip Treacy, Moda Rosa is the go-to place for a quick designer stock-up outside of London. Promising a relaxed atmosphere, the boutique is committed to providing a comfortable experience and stress-less shopping, alongside an “excellent” alteration service. So why, we ask, would a shop so peaceful wish to disturb their natural order by hosting a catwalk show? Something we all know to be stressful, chaotic and erratic behind the scenes?
Why, for charity, of course! Aiming to raise £2.5 million for the creation of a breast cancer support charity in Wessex – The Wessex Haven – Moda Rosa will be displaying spring/summer 2013 items from Moschino, Diane von Furstenberg, Paule Ka, Versace and more. All of which are available from the store itself.
Upon entering the exclusive five-star Lime Wood hotel (which boasts a spa and local farm foods) on the 24th April 2013, guests will be treated to a champagne reception before watching models strut down the catwalk. With Storm model management (who gave the world the likes of Alek Wek, the Delevingne’s, Moss, Crawford, etc…) providing the girls, we can already tell this isn’t an event to miss. Especially as a luxury raffle and auction will further the glamour.
Including canapés, tickets to the event are £100, with each penny raised from the show going directly to The Wessex Haven centre expansion. However, with dinner also available at the Lime Wood’s Hartnett Holder & Co. restaurant for an extra £55, you can make an entire evening of it – or a mini break if you decide to stay overnight for a small fee.
