Orly’s MASH UP: a colour for every mood and occasion
Multi-award-winning company Orly presented the new summer MASH UP collection in March, one of the most anticipated and highly regarded in the beauty sector.
At the Bologna Cosmoprof, the nailcare company introduced all the 2013 collections: Spring, Summer, Fall and Holiday; but the MASH UP limited edition is the one that caught everyone’s attention.
Orly’s summer edition is not what people may expect from a classic summer collection. Usual light nuances have been modified or replaced and the overall impression is a balance between fresh, glittering colours and darker tones.
The collection is made up of six different colours with a pronounced tendency to privilege purple and pink. “Harmonious Mess”, “Choreographed Chaos” and “Beautiful Disaster” opt for more classic and feminine tones as light smoke lilac, candy pink and a neon bluish purple.
To complete the edition, Orly matches pink and purple with green. “Pretty Ugly” is a light blue with aquamarine shades and “Sparkling Garbage” a glittering aquamarine green. The punchy touch of the collection is “Mayhem Mentality” a flashy orange nuance.
These colours can be shown on their own but to get the best and the fun out of them, they should be mixed together. Going wild with each fantasy and creation, creating different and always original sparkling looks is not a simple invitation but a must.
The great virtue is that this collection is not temporary: the colour matches are not limited to a summer palette; the glittering purple can be easily worn during autumn and winter.
