Dee Vesali Publicity showcase some of the best in clothing and accessories
The autumn/winter 2013 collections at the Dee Vesali press day flowed beautifully, with greens, reds and purples entwining the works of the various talented designers on display.
Morella Sassoon is a British designer greatly influenced by Asia as is evident in her designs. Elegant traditionally shaped gowns and cocktail dresses are coloured in a jewel palette and embellished with gold embroidery and bead-work based on designs of Buddhist temples. The pieces in this collection are guaranteed to make the wearer feel graceful and feminine as well as the centre of attention at any event.
Billionaire Italian Couture is on hand to add a splash of luxury and extravagance to the wardrobes of both men and women. All the clothes are handmade and almost all of them are statement pieces that will be remembered; from snakeskin to brocade, red to purple, each piece is exquisite. Alongside the clothes are shoes and accessories all in matching colours and textures. These items are available for both men and women and could be worn alone to brighten an outfit or alongside their matching counterparts.
For a splash of vivid colour and the exotic we turn to Norwegian born Nina Naustdal‘s autumn/winter GOLD collection. Inspired by animal prints and jewels, the long flowing gowns and skirts envelop the wearer in stunning silks, chiffons and velvet.
Sisters Clare and Mary Burgess created Allium B in order to stock the shelves with the kind of dresses they wanted to see, and this season they have taken their inspiration from vintage designs. Following the company’s elegant but effortless style, the A/W collection is available in flattering silks and crepes. These are great ageless pieces that could be worn by anyone for many seasons to come.
The nicer weather is certainly on the way at the moment and now is the time to be hunting out our sunglasses. Finest Seven have a collection of seven different styles each with a limited number of 100 pieces each. Fundamental to the brand is its emphasis on each of the seven elements of eyewear production, with the colour, components, lenses and construction materials just as important as the design, comfort and fit. The glasses show designer Jesse Stevens’ understanding and expertise in the field of eyewear and are a testament to her quality and eye for aesthetics.
JB by Joubi is the label’s first diffusion line and their spring/summer 2013 collection. The line is inspired by natural shapes, colours and forms with the signature piece the cat-eared Kosey Ring. Other highlights include the brightly coloured anemone ring, the double caged Betwixt pendant and the big chunky chain Link bracelet.
LOVEBULLETS presents its #CRYSTALPOWER collection, a line made from bullets and crystals transforming the once destructive item into something of peace, love and beauty. Available in a range of crystals and a brass or silver finish, each item is a statement piece with a message. Bracelets, cuffs, rings and necklaces are also available in the LOVEBULLETS range and part of the profits from each item sold goes to the charity WarChild.
