Nails Inc. wins prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise
In 2013, dressing our nails is perhaps just as important as dressing our bodies. One of the most sought after nail-polish brands in the UK, Nails Inc., has received the amazing Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The award, established in 1965, is announced annually on the Queen’s birthday and is given to companies that achieve a substantial and sustained increase in export earnings. This year, Nails Inc. stood out and shone in the category of International Trade.
When we look at the styles of polish and stunning array of colours that have been offered by Nails Inc. in the past, there is no wondering how they won this prestigious award. In 2012, we saw perhaps the best offerings from the nail brand, with the coveted leather polish being a favourite amongst many. Their most recent spring release, a denim-effect, is yet another clever and on-trend idea that gives us girls a mani to die for!
Nails Inc. founder, Thea Green, shared her excitement with British Vogue: “We are delighted to win the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2013.” She was also appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2011. She further shared with Vogue: “Nails is one of the fastest growing categories in the beauty sector with nail polish being an easy, affordable way for women to stay on trend. We expect demand for our product, both in the UK and overseas, to continue to grow.”
