ORLY show their colours for spring and beyond
The ORLY press day at trendy London nightclub Vanilla, recently showcased their latest and soon to be arriving collections.
Already available is the Hope and Freedom Fest collection; a group of six polishes all geared towards summer and its festival season. With names like ‘Elation Generation’ and ‘Coachella Dweller,’ this collection has really captured the essence of summer festival fun.
The Mash Up collection, just a few days old, is a range of bright shades which are bang on the mark for the summer feel. With contradicting names such as ‘Sparkling Garbage’ (one with a dazzling glittery polish you simply must keep your eye out for!) and ‘Harmonious Mess,’ this collection has all the must have shades for the new season. The products are also available in a mini “try me” set.
Coming in August is the Surreal collection, a range of polishes in various finishes and a stunning range of colours. From pale pink to turquoise there will be a varnish for all tastes in this range.
Also coming in August is the Mega Pixel FX range, a selection of polishes that will prove popular thanks to their glittering, textured finish. The ‘Black Pixel’ shade seems almost like a leather finish but with a sparkling polish. It must be said that the photographs don’t do them justice, you need to hunt them down on their release to truly appreciate them.
The Gel FX range is also expanding this year with more and more polishes being added. The neon shades are certainly the ones to check out upon their arrival in July, their sheer vibrancy outshining others on the market.
Gel FX Shade Shifter is bringing something new and exciting to the world of nail polish: heat-changing colour! Upon application the varnish appears black and can be applied over the top of any other. However, as the polish is warmed by your hands the black becomes clear, revealing the colour underneath. The effect begins at your cuticles and spreads as it warms creating a wonderful gradient look. We can’t wait to play with these when they come out this month.
