Pre-loved designer heaven: BuyMyWardrobe

Yesterday evening we were invited to the successful BuyMyWardrobe event, which started launching events in 2008 with the soul goal of being “a market-place to buy and sell pre-loved luxury designer fashion”, with a chance for every woman to “step into the wardrobes of the country’s most stylish”.

The petit store on Seymour Place, Marble Arch, is a hidden gem for us women who absolutely love luxury fashion but not its big scary price-tag. BuyMyWardrobe had everything from the classics such as the Chanel tweed skirt, the Louis Vuitton Epi zip coin purse and Prada Saffiano bags and purses. They were well stocked with a killer shoe collection, enough to rival the likes of Paris Hilton.

Holding a glass of champagne and a cheesy bread stick, we browsed the rails for bargains and staples, talking to numerous women who agreed that this was the perfect place to scout out that knockout birthday top or a glam dress fit for an up-coming wedding.

With prices as low as some high street retailers’, there’s something for everyone and no need to feel guilty after a gorgeous purchase. Also, be sure to ask about the item history as some of the pre-loved goods have an amazing past that will make you treasure it even more!
