Gisele Bündchen falls for H&M
H&M have just released the news that millionaire top model Gisele Bündchen has just signed to be face of their fall line.
The 32-year old Brazilian Bündchen has a long list of fashion collaborations under her belt that include the face of the make-up line by David Yarman, Chanel and has been listed on Forbes top-earning models list.
Forbes has estimated Bündchen to have earned $45 million in one year and has replaced another top earner, Beyonce Knowles, as the face of this line. She is also no stranger to H&M and has already previously worked on their 2011 summer campaign.
Fashion industry media are abuzz with the signing, and have predicted the contract to be worth an estimated $3 million to $5 million. H&M have not yet made this apparent but surely have full confidence in their choice as Bündchen does not only have the face for fashion but has the brain for it too. She has a successful sandal range created with iPanema which in estimated to make £152 million with over 250 million pairs sold in 2010.
Images of the fall line have yet to be released; however, H&M have given us a glimpse of the beauty in action by releasing an image of Bündchen wearing a black coat walking down a busy road. Knowing that everything Gisele touches turns to gold, one can only imagine how the line will be portrayed.
