Climskin: urban wear fresh from the streets of Birmingham

Launched in 2011 by Birmingham-based designer Michael Climmer, Climskin is an urban fashion label inspired by the city, popular culture and hip-hop music. 

Climskin is an edgy streetwear label that features graffiti like artwork printed on vests, t-shirts and hoodies. Some pieces simply feature the Climskin logo, others showcase funky motifs that can vary from stunning mermaids to colourful tigers.

Every care has been taken in order to create original designs for each garment, Climskin has even provided each article with a spunky name such as Urban Butterfly, Fierce Nature or Big Dog Crew, making them that little bit more unique.

It’s also great to see that Climmer has not only been influenced by pop culture but also by the city in which he lives and even states that some sketches originate from what he has seen on the streets of Birmingham.

With a collection for both women and men, you are sure to find a cool-yet-comfortable top that you can rock with style. The women’s line is both funky and fashionable and will go with everything from jeans and trainers to a skirt and heels.
