One Direction release their first scent Our Moment

Directioners the world over are about to go into meltdown. If your Tumblr is filled with their images, your ringtone is a medley of their top hits and you long to catch a sweaty towel at their concert, now fandoms can go one step further and smell like 1D’s perfect girl. One Direction has made their fans’ dreams come true by finally releasing their first women’s fragrance.

Our Moment, named after the band’s song Moments, “smells like a summers day” [sic] tweeted the band’s Harry Styles. One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles were all involved in the making of the scent. “It’s not too strong and it’s quite sweet and subtle, rather than it being a bit more in your face,” Payne told WWD. The fragrance has fruity top notes of pink grapefruit, wild berries and red currants, floral notes mid notes. “I’ve tested [Our Moment] on my family and they love it – and we can’t wait to show it to our fans across the world.” Says Niall about Our Moment.

The band enjoyed working on their new project, which has been a year in the making. “We love the idea behind a fragrance as you mix individual scents to create something so much better!” says Liam. The idea for the band to release their own scent came from a campaign on Twitter, where fans began a petition for a 1D fragrance. “We kind of got the idea from them but then we just got really into it”, says Liam.

Our Moment will be available from 25^th August at Harrods before being released across the UK. Prices start from £21 for a 50ml bottle.
