Butterflies, moustaches and birds: a peek into the wonderland of Laura’s Jewellery

Butterflies, moustaches and birds: a peek into the wonderland of Laura’s Jewellery

Here at The Upcoming we are real lovers of Etsy shops. It seems to be these small businesses that bring out all the jewellery treasures, that the high street just doesn’t provide. Enter Laura’s Jewellery, a cute and kitsch brand of vintage inspired jewellery.

Having begun making jewellery eight years ago, designer Laura Wale has come a long way since making pieces for her friends and family. Known as a self-confessed vintage magpie collector, Laura uses inspiration from her childhood and the beauty in nature to influence her designs.

Laura’s kooky and creative eye has managed to create a store simply brimming with pages and pages of pretty pieces. Here are some of our favourites, for you to get your hands on.

We love this sweet bunting necklace in pink and teal. At only £14 this could be your perfect statement necklace for spring/summer.

If you want to delve into the moustache trend without sprouting one of your own, this brooch would be perfect. Simply pin it on a top or summer dress and remain on trend for only £5.

You can never go wrong with Alice in Wonderland, especially when there is a necklace this charming. We love how unusual it is and that it’s influenced by the original book illustrations. The shop is host to a whole collection of wonderland inspired pieces.
