boohooMAN: style with edge
If you thought boohoo was just for women, you were wrong. The very stylish boohooMAN is evolving, and with it, so are men’s wardrobes.
Press, celebrities and rock bands descended upon the trendy location of The Hospital Club on Wednesday to have a sneak peek at the fresh-faced look of the men’s trendy online shopping destination. With four trends as the centerpieces of boohooMAN’s collections – Vive le Punk, True Grit, Militarian and the Freshman – each aesthetic appeals to the different moods of the wearer.
For those who smell rebellion in the air, the Vive le Punk collection is ideal. Clashing animal print against tartan with woven zip details around the torso teamed with wet-look fabrics mean that the designs are punk, but with a modern twist. With the punk theme transcending across the catwalk and the recent MET Chaos to Couture exhibit, this collection is perfect for meeting trends, but in a more individualistic way.
For a more urban take on country casual, True Grit is the line for you. Herringbone patchwork, shearling collars and quilted jackets pair nicely alongside the bleached washed denim, dip-dye tops and lumberjack shirts. To finish the look, biker jackets, trapper hats and camel desert boots add a great touch to the heritage-meets-1970’s-western style.
For a more masculine look, the Militarian collection is the perfect fit. Khaki shades and camo prints are revamped with reversible bomber jackets, while pea coats and duffle coats are paired stylishly with working boots and fold over satchels.
Last but not least, the Freshman collection is perfect for the Americana in us all. Sportswear is made stylish with tapered jogging pants, and basketball jackets are flourished with luxe finishes. With baseball boots and duffel sacks also in the collection, a whole look can instantly be bought at the click of a finger.
With rich maroons and forest greens, any man will be ready for the Autumn/Winter months, and can even sip a bottle of boohooMAN beer while they are at it!
