Rihanna River debuts her River Island autumn/winter 2013

Songstress Rihanna launched her second collection for the famous UK retailer, River Island this month. Co-designer Adam Selman says of the collection: ‘The first collection was a lot purer, about finding pieces that Rihanna felt were missing from her closet. There is a real concept to this one. I can’t give too much away, but we travel so much and experience so much of the world. We’re very lucky to do so and that definitely inspired us. The idea of sports uniforms and masculine vs feminine is something we evolved from last season too. There was a lot of pressure with our debut – this felt more relaxed.”

Rihanna once again proves that she is an artist in every aspect and the collection promises to bear the edgy fashion signature she is so known for. The collaboration between Selman and Rihanna is known to be a mixture of camouflage, leather and bold prints, all of which are current trends for this fall season.

Since this is Rihanna’s second collection the line is already popular and is already available in selected stores.
