Flying Horse is a new adventure in jeanswear

Just off Carnaby Street a new store has opened where you can find a whole new world of denim and adventure soaked clothing. We went along to drink coconut water and find out more.flying horse 2

The relaxed vibe is the first thing to hit you as you walk through the doors of Flying Horse, and the clothing reflects this too. Inspired by South East Asia and travelling, the clothing is comfortable and effortless, but lacks the pretentiousness of other brands.flying horse 3

The clothes are soft and wearable straight off the rails, even the denim that lacks the nasty sniff chemical finish of so many other brands. This is casual menswear for those who still want a sense of style and purpose in the outfit.flying horse 4

Very much a small and personal operation, Flying Horse design and make of all their own clothing in their factory in Asia. Every process of the manufacturing is done on site, from the sorting of the raw cotton to the construction of the end product. The shade of the indigo is important to Flying Horse and so the cotton thread is dyed, rather than the end product, which gives a deeper, richer shade. This thread is then put on traditional looms and woven into the denim before being handmade into the jeans.flying horse 5

This level of care and detail can be seen in each and every product in the store and is a testament to the passion of founders David Rix and Sanjay Mandan. Flying Horse is the place to head to if you want a pair of jeans to last long enough to tell a story of a life of adventure.
