L.K.Bennett introduces the Rosamund capsule bag fall collection

London born actress, Rosamund Pike, and L.K.Bennett have partnered to create the Rosamund bag collection, which debuts this fall.  The capsule bag, named in the actresses’ honour, has been created in three different styles called the Rosie, Rosamund and Rosa.

The actress has an inherent flair for classic British luxury and has spent over six months collaborating with L.K.Bennett to complete the collection. Rosamund says: “I think having a handbag is about feeling that you are holding a little bit of luxury, and hopefully that is what this bag will offer. To start the process, I sat in the L.K.Bennett studios and sketched what I wanted, a bag to embody modernity, freedom and independence. I cared a lot about the inside of the bag, as I wanted it to look delicious on the outside as well as on the inside. There is an inside out detail, which is a lovely punctuation mark on the smoothness of the Nappa leather, bringing some of the chaos of the inside onto the outside.”

This flair could be attributed to Pike’s exposure to British history in both on screen and on stage roles.  She has just completed the production of Edgar Wright’s comedy, The World’s End, which premiered on 10^th July in London.

The collection between Pike and L.K.Bennett is made in Italy from soft calfskin leather and has been created with a rich colour palette, perfectly suited for fall fashion.  Warm and bright colours such as vibrant tangerine, dark bitter chocolate brown and emerald green mark the range. Aesthetically pleasing, the capsule bag has been crafted with detail and luxury in mind and sports a suede-like lining and a zip in matt gold.

Inspired by Rosamund’ s most treasured jewellery piece, a pair of earrings, the zip has been crafted to mimic its safety pin design detail.  The collection is available in three sizes, still keeping in line with statement design, and has been crafted in six colour choices.
