It’s back to the 90s with vintage-inspired Italian jewellery at Gogo Philip
Celebrating their new store in Shoreditch, along with the success of their last party, last night Gogo Philip threw a mid-summer disco glitter party to show off its brand new bijoux jewellery Rocks collection.
The shop is like a jewellery box itself, with not only their popular lines of new stock filling the walls, but also a prized collection of vintage Italian jewels. The brand, which originates from fashion capital Milan, takes pieces of jewellery made from the past 30 years and uses it as inspiration for contemporary pieces.
Last night’s collection however, explored Gogo’s archives and included the one-off items which inspire their collections. Party-goers and shoppers have the chance to bag hand-crafted pieces, 80s necklaces, vintage pearls and geometric design belts. Gold gleams from ever corner of the store, with cake stands filled with earrings and rings and long pendants displayed on walls and in sideboard draws. Shapes from the 80s are recreated in gold-coloured chain belts and cleverly placed next to a small stand at the front of the shop selling vintage clothing.
What we love about Gogo is the archive collection of unique Italian vintage and the bargain price tag that accompanies it. If you like your jewellery bold then you will love Gogo Philip. Chunky gold chains, palm tree shapes and geometric spirals make the label’s summer collection – Malibu 1992, which is perfect for a little Italian style poolside glam. Look out for the latest collection of cutesy Disney pieces and the new Gogo perfume.
