Meena creates the ultimate pleated bag

Meena Handbags is definitely a brand you should be keeping watch over right now. Meena Bhambra is the creator, and she specialises in making all kinds of bags, all a great example of good quality British craftsmanship. They’re 100% leather, handmade and are characterised by a chic pleated leather motif. They can be custom-made depending on what colour you’d like, so there’s a bespoke element there too. She says herself: “These hand-made British bags are full of elegance as the pleats hold something so unique…when I design each bag I am so focused by seeing my bags come to life, from the first point of sketching and thinking of what colours will work. This is a complete luxury brand and the thought process of each curve and look can take months of planning. I take pride in how beautiful the bags look at the end of each process.”
