Robert Pattison’s sexy Dior Homme ad

The first thing that comes to mind when we hear the household name “Robert Pattison”  is that he is a man who is sexy, mysterious and suave. So, what happens when the vampire king is cast in a steamy Dior ad with Camille Rowe? Pure advertising genius!

Dior’s Homme fragrance video has, no doubt, been worth the wait. The world-renowned fashion house has been teasing the fans with behind-the-scenes campaign videos and pictures, all taken by the brilliant Nan Goldin. However, the final, edgy video has now been revealed to all Pattison lovers, Dior lovers and fashion lovers. Shot by Romain Gavras, this video stages Robert Pattison in all his magnificence.

The video, which uses the song Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin, features scenes of smoking in the bathtub, crashing a black-tie event, driving fast cars, diving underwater and, obviously, smooching! The behaviour of the characters in the video is the epitome of wild, adventurous and damn right cool, yet their behaviour also presents the audience with the emotions of passion and lust.

In an interview, Pattison explains: “I didn’t want to do something very posy…I wanted to add some anger to it and bite to it and sexy as well”. Anger and sexiness is definitely present throughout the advertisement, making the shot powerful and immensely intriguing.
