LFW – Charli Cohen launches stylish sportswear S/S 2014

Multi-talented and extremely passionate, Charli Cohen has launched her first Spring/Summer 2014 collection, which was showcased at The Library gym in Ladbroke Grove. With music, drinks and nibbles, the unique combination of sports and fashion was cleverly fused during the evening.

Two of her passions have been bought together to create an exciting and vibrant fusion of fitness, fashion and comfort. Charli has used her academic knowledge and experience to create luxury in a fashion forward product with its own unconventional mix of fashion and sportswear.

The young and fresh designer has a successful history of education and perseverance supporting her from the early age of 15, as this was when she had first developed a love for fashion.

Graduating from Kingston University in 2012 with a BA in Fashion, Charli is also certified as a personal trainer and as a nutrition consultant. Throughout her first few steps in her chosen career, she had decided to create stylish sportswear as there has been more awareness of sports and fitness in the media.

Due to her designs and creative ideas of science, technology and fashion, Charli had received many awards which were a positive boost to her already heightened career. She had graduated from university as Womenswear Student of the Year, and she was also a finalist for the prestigious Lycra Future Designers Award alongside other high-status awards.

Not only is Charli’s clothing extremely versatile and has a futuristic edge, but it has also been combined with style and performance driven function. The body contouring features are perfect designs to wear at the gym. The super-soft and tactile fabrics had been sent over from Italy but it has been manufactured in the UK using sustainable production process, which also makes it an eco-friendly brand. With Charli’s designs, it is now simple to look and feel good at the gym.
