LFW – Triumph S/S 2014 collection
Fashionable lingerie brand, Triumph, held an exclusive viewing of their exciting spring/summer 2014 collection in Covent Garden. As it was an early morning preview, fresh orange juice, fresh fruits and croissants were on hand as guests lingered around the stylish and high-quality lingerie.
Launched in 1886 in a small town in Germany and with only six seamstresses at that time, Triumph catered for women with generous curves and a fuller bust, as they strongly believed that all women should feel confident and secure about their bodies.
Fast forward to the modern times of 2013; Triumph is still standing strong with the same core beliefs. The only difference is now they are an international company receiving recognition from renowned names across the industry.
Love for craftsmanship and being creative with the hands are two major aspects, which inspire and influence the company. Because of this, Triumph has held a competition that allows women from all creative disciplines to enter and compete against each other by creating and using their imagination.
Contestants have included fashion designers, jewellery makers, furniture stylists and illustrators. Singer and songwriter, Paloma Faith supports the unique competition, and she will sit on the judging panel and eventually mentor the winner.
Having a vision and pushing the boundaries are what Triumph specialises in. Alongside the competition, which supports and assists women in creative disciplines, Triumph is clearly a brand like no other. It offers lingerie that helps to boost confidence and give a sense of empowerment.
The S/S’14 collection ranges in lingerie flatters and enhances the body’s natural shape, and it uses lightweight glossy fabric, which adds a touch of glamour. Other pieces include the Beauty-Full Icon that is modern, clean and romantic with double lace and flexi 3D wire. Another range is the Aurora Sensation, which uses wild animal prints and light fabrics, and it cleverly tucks the tummy and trims the thighs.
Femininity, women empowerment and a love for craftsmanship are what Triumph’s lingerie strongly reflects. A woman-to-woman communication and an understanding of women’s needs, desires and inspirations are what drive the designs and elements of the brand. Aiming to create feminine, seductive and warm lingerie, which brings out the inner goddess, Triumph uses high-quality, comfortable and bespoke material to create pieces of confidence and beauty.
