Top fashion designer Peter Pilotto unveiled his new spring/summer 2014 collection at the Victoria House Space, in Bloomsbury, as part of London Fashion Week.
The half-Austrian, half-Italian designer, along with fellow designer Christopher de Vos, brought an array of exquisite avant-garde dresses and separates to the catwalk.
Pilotto kicked off with a selection of calm mint green, sky blue and bright green dresses and separates – skirts and jackets, featuring lace, tweed and embroidered origami folds. However, the room was set alight with the duo’s explosive volcanic-inspired pieces, featuring bold cerise, black and burnt orange prints, on strong sculptural silhouettes.
In addition to their red carpet adventures, Pilotto and de Vos announced at their LFW show that that they will be collaborating on a collection with American retailer Target. The duo will launch the limited edition high-street line featuring womenswear, swimwear and accessories next February, bringing their innovative designs to mainstream America.
