LFW – Simone Rocha S/S 2014 collection

Irish designer Simone Rocha transformed the catwalk into a punk style wedding during her S/S’14 collection show.

Inspired by the nature in Connemara, West Ireland, the young designer used earth colours green, black, grey and white to recreate the feel of moss, rocks and flowers for this season’s collection. The pieces included puffy skirts and cocoon-like dresses with open pockets and daisy detailing. Transparent knee-high socks with beautiful flower embellishment softened the edgy look of leather and twisted mohawks.

Simone Rocha never fails to amaze and she certainly did a great job with her S/S’14 collection, which represents a strong feminine style with arural feel.
