Temperley London relaunches Notting Hill boutique
In an evening hosted by Alice Temperley, Laura Baily and Sheherazade Goldsmith, Temperley London relaunch their Colville Mews location as a two-floor bridal and evening wear boutique deep in the cobbled heart of Notting Hill.
The dark wood and art deco interiors have been made to match their swanky Mayfair flagship, and windows have been altered to allow in more light. Birds decorate the interior walls – each one individually hand-painted – and the famous Union Jack facade is re-painted in more vibrant hues.
Despite its international appeal, the secret to Temperley London’s success lies in its Britishness. The brand has even been known to collaborate with Twinings tea on a scarf to accompany a limited edition pack of Earl Grey, and it doesn’t get much more British than that! English women are Temperley’s main customer base, and a strong source of inspiration behind the collections. The brand’s feminine meets rock-and-roll aesthetic comes together in a mixture of ground-sweeping chiffons and raw-studding embellishments suited for a range of women, from Middleton to Moss.
The ground floor of their newly refurbished Notting Hill location features some truly stand-out gowns from past and present Temperley collections, while the upper floor is dedicated to bridal. The store features two private salons which display both the latest and classic bridal collections, offering brides-to-be a wide range of styles and prices to choose from.
Temperley’s freshly polished boutique is sure to become a top shopping destination for women worldwide.
