The Perfume Shop’s Love Perfume Awards 2013

Last night, The Perfume Shop hosted yet another dazzling Love Perfume Awards ceremony at the glitzy Vanilla Club.  The event, which has been running for three years, always delivers an entertaining evening. We at The Upcoming were there to enjoy the fun and check out this year’s winners.

Before all was revealed, guests indulged in a plethora of drinks and an interesting range of canapés. Last year the event attracted a large number of celebrities, so everyone’s eyes were on the swinging door. TV presenter and model, Lizzy Cundy (who last year had the press in a spin for wearing a revealing see-through lace dress by Baby Box) soon swam in looking very glamorous. This year Lizzy opted for a striking Bardot red dress, showing off her fabulous figure.

It was soon time for the winning scents to be announced. Nicky Minaj succeeded in gaining two awards for Best Celebrity Launch and Best Bottle Design for her eccentric yet innovative metallic doll faced vessel. Best Women’s Launch went to Mark Jacobs Honey and Best Men’s Launch went to Gucci Guilty. Kate Middleton and David Beckham were awarded Nose of the Year and Peter Andre received Most Loved Celebrity. And last but not least, One Direction were granted the Gold Award.

Following the awards, a cake was brought out to celebrate The Perfume Shop’s birthday. The brand was born in 1992 and since then has been successfully helping customers find their perfect scents. Music and drinks continued to flow as they succeeded in delivering a winning night!
