Toft Alpaca Shop for Wool Week 2013
Nothing is more comfortable on a rainy autumn day than a soft, comfy and warm wool jumper. However, most don’t even think about all the greatness wool has to offer.
This week was Wool Week in the UK, and many big brands have come together to celebrate and promote all the natural benefits of this wonderful material.
One of the brands actively involved in this year’s Wool Week was Toft. Toft is known for its high quality knit products using luxury alpaca yarns.
The Toft Alpaca herd was established in 1997 at Toft Manor, near the village of Dunchurch, in North East Warwickshire. The award-winning herd currently includes over 150 alpacas, which offer great quality fleece.
The British brand, Toft, has many knitting and textile workshops to offer for those interested in learning more about alpacas and the wonderful art of knitting.
For this year’s Wool Week, Toft did a live knitting stunt in John Lewis, Oxford Street, promoting its range of sheep-themed workshops and sheep-related products.
On the brand’s website you can find everything you need to know about knitting. The Toft Studio offers a wide range of workshops, for knitters at all levels, where they can choose the item they want to knit.
