The beauty industry celebrates at the CEW(UK) Achiever Awards
The Cosmetic Executive Women (UK) Achiever Awards is one of the most highly anticipated events in the beauty industry’s social calendar and this year was no exception.
This year’s award celebrations took place in the Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s ballroom and saw the CEW(UK) Achiever Awards given to four women who all show a willingness to teach others, a high degree of humanity and who are – above all – an inspiration.
Elizabeth Fagan, the marketing director at Boots UK; Tracey Woodward, the commercial director at Urban Retreat Ltd; Sue James, the editorial director at Woman&Home; and Julietta Dexter, the founding partner of The Communications Store all received awards this year, but the most anticipated went to Bella Blisset.
Bella received the CEW(UK) Members’ Achiever Award which recognises her as an up-and-coming star in the beauty world. Bella is a freelance journalist and already works as a beauty columnist for YOU Magazine and was chosen from a shortlist by CEW(UK) members.
Winner of the CEW(UK) Special Industry Award this year went to Sean Harrington who is the managing director at Elemis. Chosen by the CEW(UK) board, the award is further recognition for an already massively respected and well-known name.
With such a fantastically supportive turn out and some truly deserving recipients, this year’s awards ceremony really was an evening to remember and next year’s looks set to be just as good – if not better.
