Press day: Billionaire Italian Couture cowboys and Indians

Press day: Billionaire Italian Couture cowboys and Indians

A cross between cowboy and international playboy would be a good way to describe Billionaire Italian Couture’s S/S 2014 men’s wear collection. Taking inspiration from the iconic western Django, exotic python skins flirt with the luxury of cashmere and silk.

The new collection, which was showcased at the Sloane Street store on Thursday, is based on a journey starting at the Grand Canyon – that would be the cowboys and Indians part – and ending in Los Angeles, the rich and decadent red carpet glamour part.

The Billionaire man certainly likes to stand out in a crowd; the signature look is a showy shirt and blazer, chic jeans and eye-catching slippers, all topped off with an ultra-luxe exotic skin belt adorned with a come-hither ornamented buckle; certainly not a look for wall-flowers.

Ladies, do not feel left out. In keeping with the men’s wear line you too can luxuriate in dazzling west coast inspired prints; you can even pretend you are chief for the day by stepping into the skirt suit creation based on the vibrant colours of the Indian chief’s head-dress.

If you aren’t quite ready for head-to-toe Italian haute couture then a safe entry level piece would be the humble slipper; they make a statement without screaming “look at me!”, and you can have a small nod to the world of extreme luxury that is Billionaire Italian Couture.
