Eley Kishimoto and Tokyo Fixed give bicycles a new look
Bicycles all over the world are getting a make-over thanks to Eley Kishimoto and Tokyo Fixed. The stunning print-maker and the leaders in bespoke bicycles have teamed up to create a limited edition collection of bikes that are both unique and colourful in their nature.
Though a collaboration, each designer brings their own little expertise to the collection. Eley Kishimoto (founded by Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto), creates stunning prints that have made their way onto wallpaper, furniture, glassware and even onto women’s wear. While the other part of the collaboration, Tokyo Fixed, produces a range of beautifully crafted, classically inspired steel frames and custom-made bikes. Together with Eley Kishimoto’s hand-painted designs and Tokyo Fixed’s extensive experience in making versatile frames, they create beautiful bicycles that all have their own special, clean finish.
The limited edition collection comes in different colours and each bike is fitted with a cute bag to give the bicycle its own unique edge and look. Eley Kishimoto details: “The leather saddle and grips by Brooks contrast nicely with the green leaf print, which also comes in black. Here the matching bag has you ready for the road.”
All the bicycles are made with the finest custom-made technology and unique print aesthetic. So if you’re looking for the perfect racy but still stylish bike to ride through the city, then this limited edition, classic bicycle is the one for you.
