The Hervé Léger S/S 2014 swimwear collection
We know that it’s not even Christmas yet, but are you already dreaming about the summer? Do you sometimes feel you would rather be lying in the sun on a sandy beach than fighting against the cold winter breeze?
French designer brand Hervé Léger is inviting you to take a journey into the heat with its latest S/S 2014 swimwear collection.
The fashion house was founded in 1985 by French designer Hervé Peugnet. Hervé got professional advice from fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld to change his surname to “Léger” in order to make it easier to pronounce for American consumers.
The brand was later bought by the BCBG Max Azria Group. Since 2007 all Hervé Leger collections are designed by the group’s founder and designer Max Azria.
Hervé Léger is known for its bandage dresses and bodycon clothing, which create a flattering feminine silhouette. The brand’s latest S/S 2014 runway collection included geometrical shapes, zip decorations and clean colours, black, white and pastels.
The S/S 2014 swimwear collection features figure enhancing bikinis and swimsuits. The design of the models resembles the collection’s bandage style women’s wear pieces.
The range includes bandeau, halter neck and strap bikini tops with V-neck and stylish criss-cross design, which was inspired by the soft movement of the ocean waves.
Ladies can pick from romantic scalloped-edge designs, glamorous one-piece swimsuits with metallic elements and sporty shapes. The swimwear range offers a large colour palette from sapphire to lilac.
