Introducing the Fashionably Skint app
Feeling uninspired by your wardrobe? Have nothing to wear for tonight’s Christmas party? The Fashionably Skint mobile application eliminates those problems by allowing university students from all over the country to borrow and lend clothes to other students.
Amanda Baker, founder of Fashionably Skint, says: “Being skint doesn’t mean we can’t look awesome on a night out. If one hundred girls at (for example) the University of Reading upload five dresses each, that’s five hundred FREE dresses available to borrow on campus. There’s tons of free fashion right under our noses. Fashionably Skint will help us to discover it!”
Looking great while being skint has never been this easy with the “borrow, rave and save” method. Non-students are just as welcome to join the revolution by registering to their “Network”, for example, London instead of their university. Users upload pictures to their profiles on Fashionably Skint and tag the item with the type, brand, colour and size so users can search and refine the products so they can find the item they’re looking for with ease.
This social app is free on iPhone and Android devices, which makes it easily accessible so it can continue and keep thriving. To keep this experience reliable, users can rate their experience in a similar way to eBay so they know if they can trust a borrower or lender. This keeps the experience exciting and safe for all to use.
