Embrace the magic from your childhood with Zara Taylor’s A/W 2013 collection
Zara Taylor’s jewellery brand was born from her passion for vintage materials and a desire to create unique pieces that reflected the quirky personality of the wearer.
Her previous collections have been seen on a wide range of celebrities and in several big name magazines. Her new A/W 2013 collection is her first themed collection and is full of vintage charm and magic.
Zara searches through vintage markets in order to find one-off treasures that she can use in her collections and incorporates them into each piece, which is made from high-quality, long-lasting materials in order to create jewellery with an heirloom-like feel.
Her A/W 2013 collection aims to bring the spirit of the wild woodlands to life and is inspired by British birds and other creatures.
Some pieces reflect the flowers and plants of the British countryside and each piece has a whimsical, fairy tale feel about it – a reflection of the childhood storybooks that painted the forest as a magical location.
Zara’s inspiration comes from her half-Irish, half-Thai heritage and she was exposed to a variety of different cultures throughout her childhood. Her heritage continues to inspire her to this day and is an overarching theme in all of her collections alongside the vintage aspect.
With such stunning designs on offer, it’s no wonder that Fearne Cotton and Jessie J are already firm fans of the brand and that Zara’s designs have been spotted on X Factor and Made In Chelsea.
With prices for her new range starting at £15, Zara Taylor really has created a designer brand that anyone can afford to feel great in.
