Looking for Kate: documentary to celebrate the life of Kate Moss
One of Britain’s most famous models will be turning 40 on 16th January, and as a gift to the superstar, fashion moguls from all around the world will be offering insights into the world of Kate Moss.
Since her rise to fame in the 90s, Kate Moss has become one of the world’s most successful models. From her rather publicised personal life to her wonderfully diverse modelling career, Moss is a paparazzi favourite and will now be having a TV show dedicated just to her.
The documentary, titled Looking for Kate, is being put together by French fashion designer Isabel Marant, German photographer and film-maker Peter Lindbergh and Italian-born fashion photographer Paolo Roversi to celebrate Moss’ 40th birthday. All three have worked with Moss at some point during her 25 years of modelling and will surely be able to give some interesting facts and stories about the Brit model. Famous for often keeping quiet and not talking to the press, Kate Moss has become a rather mysterious celebrity who rarely appears on TV shows for interviews despite the constant attention she receives from the media.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Moss herself will not be part of the documentary, but rumour has it a few close friends will appear on the TV show and there is news that there will be a look into the “darker side” of Kate Moss.
Set to air on French television on 12th January, there has been no official announcement that the documentary will be shown in the UK, but there is no doubt that it will make its way to DVD pretty quickly.
