United Nude launch pop-up shop and exhibition in Selfridges, London
Launching the new year in fantastic style, United Nude, an architectural and experimental footwear brand, has launched its very own exhibition and pop-up shop at the famous Selfridges store on Oxford Street. Brought to life in 2003, United Nude has steadily become known for its iconic designs and clear concepts in the fashion world, and 2014 is definitely not an exception.
As a part of Selfridges’ Festival of Imagination, the brand has created an intriguing display on how to test shoe “boundaries” and given a way of showing the unique and ever-so-intriguing barriers between fashion, art and architecture.
Designed to create a “dual-store experience”, the brand has created an installation, developed to show the idea of the company’s design process through combining modern-day shoe art with a spectacular shopping experience.
The allocated part of the store will display shoes such as a futuristic 3D printed shoe created in collaboration with Iris Van Herpen, as well as a shoe called the Fang, famous for being worn in the latest Hunger Games film. In addition to this, the exclusive NOVA shoe will also be available to buy, and its design will be shown through a short film.

The exhibition will run until 6th February, so make sure you add it to your must-see list for this month. We can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
