The Future of Fashion Program picks its top 20
Twenty budding fashion designers have been selected as winners of the Future of Fashion Program in association with Who’s Next and Not Just a Label.
The annual event is a perfect stepping stone for those up-and-coming fashion masterminds who are looking for a career as a designer in the world of fashion.
Ten accessories designers and ten ready-to-wear designers are selected to enter a two year learning program that will involve them being coached by only the best from the toughest and most exciting industry out there.
These top 20 competitors will have their latest collection (whether it is accessories or clothes) displayed at the Who’s Next Paris show at Premiere Classe from 25th until 28th January. After this process, only the most deserving will make it through to the two years of coaching.
All those contending will have to impress and excite the fashion savvy adjudicators from each company supporting the Future of Fashion Program. This includes founder of Not Just A Label Stefan Siegel, Salman Khokar from Koka Consulting, Olivier Arrighi of Fidancia, Pauline Savin and Camille de Pontcharra from Lambert Associates and finally Sylvie Pourrat and Sophie Guyot, sales directors from Who’s Next .
After this fabulous event, and once the two years of teaching and learning are up, two will be picked as the victors and will enjoy a money-can’t-buy prize: a €20 000 business plan, six extra months coaching with the program partners (Who’s Next, Not Just A Label, Koka Consulting, Fidancia, and Lambert & Associates), the chance to be part of the Who’s Next Paris tradeshow for up to four seasons, and a feature in globally-known magazine Dazed and Confused.
