Mariella Pilato releases Patterns of Crystallization collection
Following on from the success of her last collection, Mariella Pilato has just released her new Patterns of Crystallization range.
The Bali-based Italian artist takes inspiration from the myth-infused towns and cities that surrounded her as she grew up. Pilato studied at the Accademia de Belle Arti in Naples and Florence, and as a result her jewellery is beautifully crafted with a strong backstory.
The pieces that Mariella makes utilise semi-precious metals and precious stones, and seamlessly blend tradition and modernity to create a selection of jewellery that’s difficult to forget.
Patterns of Crystallization takes inspiration from the intricate designs that are found in angles, shapes and geometry. The crystals mentioned in the title are the main design feature of most of the pieces and the reflection and diffraction of light throughout them add an extra degree of complexity and interest.
Every piece that Mariella makes is made entirely by hand in a Balinese studio in order to ensure beautiful quality and luxury.
The collection will be available through Not Just a Label in the coming months.
