Louis Vuitton A/W 2014 menswear collection
Louis Vuitton showcased their A/W 2014 menswear collection during Paris Fashion Week. The audience was drawn into an abstract art piece that was both the backdrop and the catwalk. The waves of blue tones complemented the runway show as the variations of blue were regularly featured on individual pieces.
The models draped their coats slightly on their shoulders as they walked the runway; the style is very chic and the elegance conveys the energy of Paris. The cashmere jumpers have a furry texture while the contrast between the jumpers and the pinstripe trousers create an intriguing combination.
The grey sweatshirt tucked into trousers look is very well accessorised with a light-brown bag and shoes. This adds a pop of colour to a rather monochrome look, even though the way it’s worn references the 60s and therefore aims to bring the gentlemen-leisure trend back into focus.
The quality of the materials used in the collection is very exclusive to Louis Vuitton. The luxurious brand only uses the best for its collections to maximise comfort and style. The pieces include coats made of cashmere, Alpaca scarves and wool and mohair suits.
