Edeline Lee collection presentation for LFW A/W 2014
A windswept crowd was kept waiting in suspense with a delayed start to the Edeline Lee autumn/winter 2014 presentation in the East Wing of Somerset House on Saturday morning. However, the graffitied underground passage ways of the infamous building did not disappoint with each secretive room revealing some of Lee’s autumnal delights.
The first room revealed a live look book shoot with a single model posed under the bright lights of a photography canvas. Dressed in blue – eyebrows included – the model posed in an all-in-one ruffled front piece with draped sleeves. A simplistic but rebellious feel oozed from the garments as well as the intriguing environment.
The theme followed from room to room, with guests being greeted with elderflower water and e-cigarettes, black graffitied walls and more live photography shoots. A DJ set from Citizens! also welcomed fashionistas into a different room full of beautifully dressed mannequins. Graffitied sneakers were teamed with boyish suits, draped skirts and shirts. Intricate cuts into dresses and blazers were teamed with girly knee-high co-ord pieces for a perfect balance of boy meets girl style.
Edeline managed to impress as usual and we cannot wait for a winter full of Lee’s fabulous work.
