Hema Kaul’s collection was vintage-inspired – think old-Hollywood glamour. The rather conservative dresses had a glow, with the perfect touch of embroidery to give the pieces their character.
The way the dresses were cut around the shoulders is what makes Hema Kaul so unique; the classically beautiful dresses were precisely tailored and the bejazzled peplum drew attention to the models’ figures.
The show finished with indulgent bright red ball gowns that took centre-stage; the top of the dress was fitted and embroidered whilst the skirt had several layers – all eyes were on the last model.
