PPQ backstage and catwalk show report for LFW A/W 2014
We were lucky enough to go backstage at the PPQ show, frantic PR’s, photographers swarming around half-dressed models taking “behind-the-scenes” images, sets the scene well. The hair and make-up was very 60s-inspired: winged eye-liner, big hair tied with a scarf with natural make-up.
PPQ are known to immerse both music and fashion; retro light-rock music played as the models walked down the runway in glossy-black PVC.
You could tell that the collection was very London-inspired: beehive hair and large sunglasses styled with contrasting metallics, British punk culture was present.
The collection turned more gothic as the show progressed, with black net dresses with white collars and an all-leather catsuit!
PPQ have their consumers in mind when they’re designing and that’s evident. These clothes are made for the stylish, classic woman who has an adventurous edge.
