Orla Kiely x Clarks S/S 2014 collaboration: a classical celebration

Cross one quintessentially British shoe brand with one bonafide retro print designer and what do you get? Why, the stunning Orla Kiely x Clarks collaboration, of course. Marking the first step on the footwear ladder for Miss Kiely, Clarks is set to take the high street by storm as the exclusive capsule collection hits stores this month. 

Dubbed the “queen of prints”, Kiely’s limited Clarks range is certainly not short of colour or rhythm. The six styles emulate the retro 60s and 70s grandeur she represents perfectly, featuring iconic chunky block heels, 60s floral prints and a preppy sling-back Mary Jane style. 

And it doesn’t stop there. When not adorned with patterns and prints aplenty, other shoes follow suit with bold vintage colours including a rather apt mustard, as well as vibrant greens, reds and navy.
