London fashion boutique IRIS expands jewellery collection with Isabel Marant
IRIS launched in 2004 when two mothers, Annie Pollett and Sarah Claassen, decided to put the experience of fashion and jewellery together to create a stylish boutique that was local to them and their like-minded friends. Queen’s Park in London was the location where they became inspired and it was here that the first IRIS shop opened up, the perfect place for those who want a bit of style and to pop in and pick up hard to find fashion beauties. Ten years on, they now have three IRIS stores dotted across London in Chiswick and Northcote Road and continue to expand the business with children’s wear in the form of Little Iris as well as pieces of jewellery, accessories and gifts.
Each boutique offers a range of brands including ACNE, Current/Elliot and Carven, all high-end affordable labels that consistently offer stylish and chic designs. Now to add to their stunning series of jewellery brands they will be selling pieces from the Isabel Marant Étoile collection.
The jewellery range from IRIS already includes an interesting mix of necklaces, earrings and bracelets from Promise Jewellery, Jewel Rocks, Deborah Cadby and Helen Turbe; now they can add this on-trend and chic French label to their budding list of brands.
The designs from the Isabel Marant line are suitable for day and night, bringing some glam and colour to a simple outfit or working on the colour and quirkiness of another. The necklaces are often long chains with sweet pendant detailing such as a key, a star or a fossil. The earrings are bright and boho but delicate too; simple drop earrings with interesting feathers, colourful beads or brightly hued star shapes. The rings are of similar design, small and sweet with eye-catching elements and finally the bracelets from Isabel Marant are possibly the most beautiful and also the most wearable. From Fuji shell and coloured tassels to nude beads and pretty little stars, the delicate designs are a mix of femininity and boho chic.
The pieces vary in price but start at about £30 and go up to £90, a sweet price to pay for a piece of jewellery that will eternally be in style.
