Spring florals for Gucci S/S 2014 campaign
Gucci’s S/S 2014 campaign was shot by the iconic fashion photography duo Mert and Marcus. The collection was modelled by Tommaso de Benedictis and Lucas till Statscheit.
The luxe brand had florals as their main theme; it really is ground-breaking how fresh this looks on the models, for a rather sighed-upon predicted trend.
Gucci did it right by proportioning the size of the flowers correctly and printed them repeatedly in a non-formulated way that stimulated the flow of the branches and leaves of this fashion forest.
The luxe brand used dark tones of maroon and ivy green as the base of their trousers; this created a contrast against the grey kimono-like menswear piece, worn by the elegant model.
The futuristic clean frames from Gucci make this eyewear collection one of our favourites for the season. The dark black lens gives a military feel and the strong shape is likely to make an impression.
Also in the eyewear collection, blue tinted frames have returned after disappearing from fashion for about two decades. Will they be here to stay? With the oversized aviator frames, we believe so!
