Diana Warner jewellery: from Tennessee to Park Avenue
The southern USA is a very different world to Park Avenue in Manhattan. But one lady has made the cross-continental journey to create spectacular jewellery.
Diana Warner has been creating art since her childhood in Tennessee. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in both painting and drawing in 2004, Diana launched an accessories brand called Diana Warner Studio in 2005. The Diana Warner design studio is now located in the Gramercy Park neighbourhood in the heart of Manhattan, catering to over 700 stores worldwide.
Diana’s southern roots are reflected in her designs through her use of natural, approachable elements and through her laid-back, relatable personality. Each piece of Diana Warner’s jewellery and accessories is handcrafted with passion on 21st street, right off of Park Avenue. Her designs have graced the red carpet at nearly every major award show and countless movie premieres. Her extensive client list ranges from Blake Lively to Natasha Bedingfield, and appearances on hit TV shows such as Nashville and all six seasons of Gossip Girl have made Diana’s designs highly sought after.
When viewing Diana’s collection, you’ll notice she likes to feature gems in a lot of her pieces. Her stacking bracelets are beautiful and it’s up to you how many you want to wear. The Holly earrings have a small gold gem at the bottom of the drop. If you prefer subtle gems in your jewellery, then you will like the Diana necklace with golden sparkle. Even her rings dazzle with gems, such as this Teardrop stacker in aqua.
What inspires such colourful pieces? Inspiration for Diana’s work is often rooted in the everyday stories of the people she meets. Their real-life struggles, victories and triumphs all play a part in her designs. “I want the Diana Warner brand to be more than just jewellery – I want it to be a symbol. I want people to be able to wear something that symbolises their own personal path in some way, whether it’s a path of artistry, perseverance, struggle or achievement.”
