MFW – The Vogue Talents Corner.com

Amongst Milan Fashion Week’s most prestigious events was the Vogue Talents Corner.com showcase – an intelligent collaboration between luxury online boutique Corner.com and the prominent Vogue Italia. Milan’s Palazzo Morando played host to an exquisite exhibition of eleven of the best emerging and new clothing, footwear, jewellery and accessories designers.

Selected as a result of an “overall evaluation process”, each designer was scrutinised for their creativity, manufacturing, brand vision and commercial potential before being awarded the life-changing opportunity to share their designs with ever-esteemed fashion figures. With said personalities including Anna Wintour, and international designers such as Guiseppe Zanotti and Donatella Versace, the event really was a career fast-track for any budding fashionista.

British sunglasses brand, Finlay & Co; costume jeweller, Lily Kamper; and womenswear brand, Sika; were but a few of the lucky ones.

The opening event on 19^th February was followed by a five-day exhibition of the designers’ pieces, championing the organisers’ motives for emerging young designers as a pivotal part of financial growth for the sector. As if that wasn’t enough, each unique brand now has access to Corner.com as a platform to sell their products.
