Serebrova unleashes S/S 2014 collection at Ukraine Fashion Week
Aliona Serebrova’s spring/summer collection is an exciting “digital” inspired fashion range with pixelated patterns and bold structures.
After working in the fashion industry for numerous years and having showcased her collections in Milan as well as Russia and Ukraine, Aliona Serebrova started up the self-titled fashion company in 2003.
The Serebrova name represents a feminine, chic and versatile fashion brand that has received recognition across both Europe and Asia, and is available in numerous boutiques and is now a constant at fashion weeks worldwide.
The latest spring/summer collection from the Ukrainian fashion designer is a funky graphic mix from a palette of greys, monochrome and silver. You’d think that such a simple colour scheme would result in a rather plain fashion line but the prints, cuts and fabrics used add some serious edge to the pieces creating a bold, stylish and stunning collection of designs.
The main materials used are chiffon and coated cotton with leather trimmings and divine embellishments. Some articles such as the zig-zag detailed mini dress with black cuffs, detailed collar and broad shoulders have a combination of intriguing adornments, whereas others are left bare to offer a more minimalist look; either way they are consistently beautiful.
The range most certainly caters for many. With eccentric dresses and fabulously unconventional skirts and crop tops in contrast to classic asymmetric mini dresses and shift skirts, you can choose to remain chic and stylish with one piece or go all-out fashionista in a complete Serebrova outfit. This is what is so fabulous about this latest collection; even the most subdued and timid of people could rock one of these items. Wear the silver crop top with a pair of jeans and heels, partner one of the shift skirts with a cute shirt and flats, and even the metallic cropped trousers would look stunning with a simple black vest.
