Plum of London use the finest Alpaca fibre for their AW14 collection
This luxury knitwear company sources the finest of Alpaca fibre to create wonderful knitwear for men, women and children. Their autumn/winter 2014 collection is a wonderfully warm and brilliantly bright range of knitwear.
Since their launch just last year, Plum of London have appeared in countless high-end magazines including Vogue and Tatler; they have gradually become known nationally as one of the most luxurious and quintessentially British knitwear companies out there.
As we start to look at what the autumn/winter 2014 fashion holds, Plum of London unleash their Alpaca fibre-based garments that are not only eco-friendly but are also durable, lightweight and hypoallergenic.
If you check out the knitwear label’s website you will find out all the information you need to know about Alpaca and why they use the fibre; it is stronger than mohair and nearly as strong as silk, it does not contain lanolin like sheep or goats wool therefore making it more suitable for those with sensitive skin including babies and children. It also tends not to wrinkle, or create the “ball” effect like some wool does, and on top of all that it is super soft!
For Plum of London’s latest range of Alpaca pieces they have used vivid autumnal colours to create a bold collection of stunning knitwear. From the vibrant orange v-neck reminiscent of the beautiful colours we see through autumn to the cool teal cardigan fitting for the chillier winter months, Plum of London have a fabulous latest line on their hands.
They currently stock from men, women, children and babies as well as having a few home ware pieces including Alpaca fibre bead throws, with a promise of more to come soon.
